The variance amidst my old country and my new country is immense. In this country you can take five clams and turn it into a million clams. In my old country that same five $$$$$ would support your family for a couple of days but you could not in any way turn it into more than that.
Gambling is a way of life. Whether you go head to head at your local Texas Holdem Friday night poker game, whether you wager at a casino on blackjack, whether you bet on games on slot machines or you do some betting on the stock market – there is basically no distinction.
When I came to this awesome country I had nil. And now, after years of studying the great players and their systems – it won’t matter if I am handicapping a horse race, a NBA basketball game, the Super Bowl – I know and accept my gaming system that I can make a living.
And I additionally comprehend that in my heart there is no other life for me. I can not ever go back to my old country. They won’t observe and they never understand. They are truly from a separate world, another period of time. It isn’t actually like this country.
